Xero Getting Logged In For the First Time

A quick demo of how to set up the initial log in

A video will come shortly, however in the meantime...
Once you receive the email invite, click accept invite.

If you already have a Xero log in - even if it was set up a while ago and you haven't used it - you will still be taken to the standard Xero log in screen, so you will need to click forgot password if you can't remember how to log in.

If you have never accessed Xero before, you will be taken to a screen largely pre-populated with your information where you will set up a password and further confirm your agreement to using Xero.

Once you have completed that screen, it will take you to the Xero dashboard to get started.

However, the next time you log in it will force you to set up multifactor authentication. You will be required to set up an authenticator code, using your preferred authenticator app, usually people use the Google authenticator.

Xero will also ask you to set up a back up email. This seems awkward but if anything happens to your phone with the authenticator app it can be really helpful!
